Q: what is it to have small bumps that become bigger like boils an painful on the private area?

I have bumps on and sometme inside the walls of my private area that starts out really small and un-noticable until they become bigger like a boil. They won' burst sometime  and sometime they will. They are painful and embrassing. They seem to appear if i'm stressed or my period is near. I have had it checked before and it wa said to be a boil, but is it normal for them so come in that place so regularly. Its just big and red with a very smooth surface and sometime it has pus and sometime it don't and it goes away on its own.

Hi Karla,

You said that you've had these bumps or "boils" checked out by a doctor...did the doctor tell you what to do about them?

Some lay people on the internet are advising a bath with epsom salts or a hot compress, but I'd rather you ask your doctor first about if this would be right for you in particular.

If you cannot geta satisfactory answer from your doctor about what you have or what to do about it, consider going to another doctor.
