This is a good question!

I have been researching this now for about fifteen minutes.  Has your doctor diagnosed you with one or the other?  It seems that there may be a difference in the diagnoses.

Please read these comments by patients about their experiences with multiple ovarian cysts.

Also you may wish to read this medical journal article on the definition of PCOS.

Your best bet is to call your doctor and ask for guidance on this.

Let us know what you find out.

Thank you for your question.
