    Hi there

I would say it is very unlikely that you are pregnant.  I am around your age and I am experiencing this too.  This is normal so sayeth my gynecologist.  I had no idea perimenopause would begin this early but it does and can.  There may be other reasons, however, for a missed period including illness or an ovarian cyst...stress...the list goes on.  If you are concerned...why don't you make an appointment with your gynecologist for peace of mind.

    Hang in there!

You can pretty much determine pregnancy with a home pregnancy test or if you decide to see your gynecologist they can test you.

One good article about perimenopause can be found here. It is the link to symptoms, but on the left you will see other topics linked. There are other reasons why your period has not come, or are irregular, like ovarian cysts. Here is an article about periods being late for reasons other than pregnancy, written by Merely Me, the community leader for this site.
