When we both realized things were getting pretty hot and heavy, he put on a condom and entered me. I am a little nervous. My period starts next week and I've already begun my usual spotting before my actual period starts ... but I am anxious.

Yes, if he had any drop of sperm at the time. Its not as likely as unprotected sex, but it can happen.
