Q: I was pregnant 4 years ago and aborted. Now I cant get pregnant..whats the problem?

I'm 22 years old and have been pregnant twice before. Once when I was 16 and the second when I was 19. Both times I had an abortion. The first was surgically and the second was the pill. Now that my life is more stable I would like a baby. For 3 years now I have been having unprotected sex and nothing.. I dont wanna say I'm infertile because I've been pegnant before but maybe?? Please help find some answers.  Thank you

Time to discuss the fertility issue with a gynecolgist -obstetrician who specializes in fertility issues.  he may have you do early am temperatures daily to see if you are indeed ovulating and your partner needs to have his sperm checked out as well. Those are typically the first step.  So don't be fearful - you need to proactively take charge and begin seeking some answers from an expert.

I'm having this exact same problem. Except that I was 15 and 18 when I had the abortions. My husband and I are TTC. It's only been a few months, though. But I'm worried.  Have you found out what the problem is? I don't know that it will be the same for me, of course, but I'm wondering.

I have a gyno appointment in two weeks. But I'm trying to prepare myself for bad news.
