Q: Does A Yeast Infection Cause Vaginal Numbness?

I'm pretty sure that I have a yeast infection, and have recently been feeling vaginal numbness, even during sex. Every so often my labia will "fall asleep" and I will get the same tingling sensation that you would get in your hand if it were to fall asleep. I was wondering if these were correlated?

If you haven't already, you probably should see your doctor. You need to establish if it is a yeast infection.

You can read this article by Merely Me, a writer for this site, titled, All You Ever Wanted to Know About Yeast Infections. It should help you understand what it is, and what else it could be. It doesn't sound like that's what you have one from what you've said.
