Q: HPV and how far is this from anal cancer in the future

Dear Sir/Madam! I am 25 years old man. I've been practising receptive anal intercourse for 7 years. Now recently I've been diagnosed with HPV which cause anal warts. They was put under control with Aldara and medical ice therapy. 2 months later I noticed them back in much smaller number. I am very concerned could my HPV infection ever make a progress to an anal cancer and would Gardasil vaccine do any difference to me If I get the vaccine in the future. And what's my future like with HPV that caused anal warts, do I have chance of cancer? Thank you!

The string of HPV that causes genital warts does not cause cancer.
