It might be genital herpes but you really need to see your doctor to have this confirmed.

If it is confirmed as genital herpes it is important to understand that you will always have the virus in your body and that flare ups are a feature of the condition. HealthCentral has its own genital herpes site. The condition affects literally millions of people, so if you do have it, you are certainly not alone. Meanwhile, I would refrain from sexual activity until you have yourself checked over. If it is genital herpes and you have a flare up you will be contagious.

Good luck
