I can't imagine what is spreading among your co-workers. Has any been hospitalized yet or seen a doctor? Contacting your local health department, usually a county department, or some bigger cities have them, and giving them these facts would possibly initiate an inquiry, if not an investigation.

But like the flu, or a cold virus, many infections spread through the air or on cantact with something another person had used or touched. In her article on What you need to know about Urinary Tract Infections, Merely Me, a writer and community leader here, indicates that UTI's usually stem from bacteria finding their way from the digestive tract to your urethra.

You wouldn't think they would all be sick from a UTI, but there is no way to know without testing, that's why I wondered if any of your co-workers had sought treatment. A urinary tract infection is cause by the bacteria E.coli so often the culprit is food contamination. E.coli would have to be spread among you somehow, washing hands is one way to avoid it's spread, but I don't know how it spread among you though.
