I can't imagine what is spreading among your co-workers. Has any been hospitalized yet or seen a doctor? Contacting your local health department, usually a county department, or some bigger cities have them, and giving them these facts would possibly initiate an inquiry, if not an investigation.

But like the flu, or a cold virus, many infections spread through the air or on cantact with something another person had used or touched. You wouldn't think they would all be sick from a UTI, but there is no way to know without testing, that's why I wondered if any of your co-workers had sought treatment. E.coli would have to be spread among you somehow, washing hands is one way to avoid it's spread, but I don't know how it spread among you though.
