Q: need serious help

This is a long question to ask but I'm better off getting a second opinion than just having one. I have always had an irregular menstrual cycle, even before I had sex. Well, I've been on quite a few different birth controls and just recently stopped taking the depo provera because I want to see if I can regulate myself naturally. My only problem is, I have been having issues bleeding during and after sex, after orgasms from clitoral stimulation, and just from basic things such as being fingered. This has become quite an embarrassment and very stressful. My GYN told me its normal because the vagina contracts during orgasms and etc. I don't think that is the case. It shouldn't be happening every time. I was recently diagnosed with a high grade of HPV. I got a colposcopy and the abnormal cells on my cervix are milder than mild, so nothing intense. I'm not sure what is wrong with me but I don't know what to do. HELP! I'm tired of dealing with this!

Not sure what the answer is, birth control in general can cause bleeding and changes in your menstrual cycle until your body adjusts. Depo Provera lists that as one of their side effects, and warns that when stopping the drug, it may take three months before the side effects stop.

In this article, they state:

"The side effects are usually not serious, but it is important to realize that once Depo-Provera is injected, it cannot be reversed or neutralized. You will have to live with any side effects until the medicine wears off in 3 months.

Menstrual irregularities
Bleeding, spotting and amenorrhea (not having periods) are common..."

I'm not a doctor, so you should be guided by a medical professional, bleeding without a known cause should be investigated, if it is not caused by your period. Is there a chance you can get a second opinion? Women do not generally bleed routinely, from sexual activity to my knowledge.
