Q: I am pregnant with my 3rd child and with my other 2 births I broke their collar bones during delivery. My Dr. wants me to consider a C-Section because of my bone structure. Any thoughts?

Hello Laura

What was the reason for this happening during labor?  Is there any way that this can be avoided through a vaginal birth?

You can always get a second opinion but from what your doctor says and your past history...you may wish to consider the C-section.

I would present all your questions to your doctor so that you can make an informed choice.

I wish you the best.  Thank you for your question.
