Q: Your Question i hav severe labium itching.
Maybe it is the soap you use. I used a soap for twelve years and developed extreme itchiness on my legs and other areas, although I didn't know it was the soap then.Kept me awake for several days and nights.
The drug I got from a dermatologist relieved the itchiness until I stopped using it and the condition returned again.
Through trial and error, I found if I switched to a milder soap, like Dove or Ivory, it went away and it has never come back.
A lot of things can cause skin irritation. Stop everything and wear loose fitting cotton material only. If it goes away, try using the soap again and see what happens. The same for returning to any other material you used to wear.
Try a different Pad and/or tampon brand too. Some of those can cause irritation.
It's possible that you have an infection, or an std, too.
If none of that works, or you have tried it already, see your doctor for testing and treatment.
No, I don't think it is, because there is no smell or discharge, but at this point, what is it?
If you're unable to find something which is causing the skin irritation, then the only thing left is having a doctor examine you, and if they think it is necessary, they can check you for a bacterial infection or an std.
I just hope you can find out what is doing this. My dermatologist, at the time, wasn't really interested in helping me do that. I hope you have the best of luck, and a better doctor, if you need to go see one.
oh thanks a lot for your advice.....i am thinking if it was due to the soap that i used to wash the area....i also scratched the area heavily,so could that be the reason too to make the skin dry ther....i am really tensed about my condition...

im so seriously worried...could it be std?? but i dont think i have itching that seriously down there...no colour difference,so smell.... just thinking what could be the symptoms of std...omg! im getting still more worried...its such sort of irritation at times...
