It has gone from normal to a pale beige colour. Is this a side effect from the pill? I have been having sex without a condom with my partner for just over a year now but he was very careful in the past with using condoms and I know that I have not had an STI.

Q: I've been on Yasmin for 5 months now and have just noticed a change in discharge.

Hi there
You are not alone in having some sort of unusual discharge while on Yasmin. Just on this site alone I have seen more than several people ask about having a discharge while on this pill...usually though most are describing a brown discharge.
Here is some information about Yasmin and they say one side effect might be: "vaginal infection with vaginal itching or irritation, or thick, white, or curd-like discharge."
Does this sound anything like what is going on with you?
I am thinking your best bet is to see your gynecologist to make sure of what is going on. It could be that your discharge is not related to your pill and is caused by something else. You won't know until you go see the doctor.
