Hello
Are you under the care of a doctor or gynecologist? Please know that I am not a doctor. Does any type of over the counter medication help such as ibuprofen or medication specially for women who are suffering from cramps?
If you see your gynecologist one remedy some women use is to go on birth control pills to control some of the unwanted symptoms of their period. This could also help with mood problems during this time. Other women might use an antidepressant to combat the mood disturbance caused by fluctuating hormones.
If you are in pain I strongly suggest that you do get some help for this by seeing your doctor who can recommend a treatment suitable for you.
Thank you for your question.
