I have had a few pimples on my lips and after a few days they have turned to little red marks, they are not really visible anymore. I am afraid that it may be Herpes... is that what this sounds like to you?

I'm not a doctor, but it doesn't seem from what you are saying that it is a Herpes outbreak. I see you asked the same question on Health Central's MyHerpesConnection, and that's good, I'm glad you found the site. They have an article about Herpes over there you may want to read.
The problem is, you need to have a physical examination and testing to determine if you have Herpes. Did they form like blisters or did they form the typical "whitehead" of a pimple?
There's really only one way to find out whether you have become infected with Herpes, or a HPV of some kind, and I think it would be worth your time, for your own peace of mind, to be tested. It's a common request now a days at the doctor's. Wish I could help more.
