Hi there

Did you have your appointment yet?

You have done the right thing.  Any time you have irregular bleeding in between periods, this always needs to be checked out.  Perimenopause can cause irregular bleeding.  And if things look different down there it could be the result of hormonal fluctuations or even a skin condition of the vaginal area.

Please let us know what happens.  We could potentially scare you to death with possibilities for these symptoms but ultimately a doctor needs to properly assess you.  You will find out soon what is going on.  I am hoping it is nothing serious.

Thank you for your question.
