I just had sex about two and a half weeks ago now and started getting a dark brown discharge about four days ago. It started off very light and now its starting to get heavier with a bit of a light pink, but I am still five days away from my period. This has never happened before, please help.

I can refer you to this information about types of discharge. There is mention of a brown discharge which may be normal, or if it takes the place of your normal period and you have been having unprotected sex, pregnancy may be a possibility and you should consider taking a pregnancy test.
There are reasons for bleeding between periods, you can see some of them listed in this article about, Bleeding In Between Periods, What Does It Mean? If this continues, you should see a doctor to determine the reason.
