Q: just before period itch/ after period itch is gone immediately

My vagina started to itch on the inside the day before I started my period the itch lasted the whole 5 days.. I went to the drug store and got some yest meds. well that did not help it it continued to itch until the day my period left, I really mean the moment the blood left the itch left. The itch was so bad that I could not sleep at night as this is when it seemed to get worse. Im not on my period now and the itch has not come back but I am very scared next month it will... and if it does I will shoot myself to not have that itch again its deep inside, and if you rub, or even wipe after you pee this makes the vagina area swell and hurt, but after the period leaves its fine. its as if it never happen, and this is the first month it has done it I have been with the same man now for 1 yr and he is not sleeping with anyone else im sure because he has no penis, it was removed, we only have oral sex.

Hi vgi

This one is a mystery to me.  The only thing I can suggest is to get checked out by your gynecologist.  You might be experiencing some sort of nerve problem.  I really do not know.

Call your doctor when you can.

Thank you for your question.

I had the same problem but in reverse. I had the itch right after my period and it was horrible. I started taking Evening primrose oil capsules and relief!!! no more itching before/after never!!! it is not yeast. at least for me it wasn't and doctors always came up with pretty much nothing. Evening primrose oil capsules can be bought at most drugstores; they are cheap and natural. good luck!
