Stomach problems, PLEASE HELP

I have been having really bad stomach problems for the past two weeks.. it all started with a sharp pain right above my belly button (along with a strong pulse in this area) that radiated into my pelvic area. My ovaries have been very painful, as well as my lower back, sides, and head. I just got off birth control this past month so I'm wondering if it's just my body ovulating for the first time in a while, and that I'm just not used to it. I've been very dizzy, lightheaded, and tired lately. I went to the doctor and they tested my pee, and said it was negative but they didn't tell me what they tested it for? They said I probably just have a stomach ulcer, but if I had an ulcer, im concerned why my pains would radiate to my ovaries.. I haven't had sex for 4 months, and I was on birth control at the time, so I highly doubt I could be pregnant? If I was I would have shown symptoms long before now. Please help!

Hi there

I am so sorry you are going through this.  A stomach ulcer?  How did your doctor say he or she arrived at this conclusion?  I am thinking that if you are not receiving the help you need maybe you should see another doctor and particularly a gynecologist.  Write down all your symptoms and give this list to them.  If your ovaries are hurting...this seems an indication that they should look at that area!

I am not a doctor so I really cannot tell you what is going on by your symptoms.  You need to find a doctor who can.

Please let us know what happens...good luck!
