Q: spotting before and during period, but none of mother natures gifts, any ideas?

im 18 first off. im trying to live on my own with no family help so eating healthy is hard but im not starving, and i know poor eating habits can alter your monthly visit buuuuut my eating habits arent much different from when i did have a home so yeah. and my period is normally very regular. i can tell when im ovulating and i know when and what day my period is going to start and roughly when it will end.

but this past month it has been acting up.

ive been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend.. often. we have been having sex for 7 months or so and i have never gotten pregnant. about two weeks before my period i spotted a little bit of pinkish fluids. it stopped and then when my period was supposed to start i just started spotting again for a few days, [[not even worth the cost of tampons for the most part]] i had mild cramps and back aches. now its gone and still no actual period. im not really having a bunch of signs that would point to pregnancy but my tummy is slowly getting bigger and im constantly exhausted and get nausous randomly like, after a cig or when im just sitting on the couch.

any ideas of what i should do?

Oh my.

Was there a reason for the unprotected sex?  It is like playing russian roulette.

Okay I am sorry.  You don't need a lecture...you need help.  Listen...you need to get a pregnancy test.  There are many reasons why a period can be late but with seven months of unprotected sex...the odds are likely that you may be pregnant.

Please do a test.  Please see your gynecologist or doctor as soon as possible.  I do hope things work out for you.  If you are not pregnant this time...ask your doctor about using contraceptives of some sort.  You are so young.  A baby changes everything.

Let us know what happens.  I wish you well.
