Q: is it normal for your "natural" vaginal smell to change as you age?

Is it nornal for your "normal" vaginal smell to change as you age?  I have gone from mild & pleasant....to a bit  stronger & not so pleasant. Not a fishy smell....almost a musty smell for lack of a better word.  Gyno exam never mentions any infection. I'm 51 & have regular sex.  Smell changed after marriage to current husband...maybe our fluids dont mesh? Thanks

I've never heard of those particular body fluids mixing to concoct an unpleasant smell at that moment. Unless someone else has an idea I can only point you to a good article about vaginal odors, many of which come from a problem with the female's health.

If you can read it over and dismiss all the possible causes, then the only thing left really, is to discuss it with your doctor who may have some ideas. Again though, perhaps one of the members here will come through with their experience and help.
