Q: Numb lips and tongue when performing cunnilingus?

I am a 46 year old male with a steady girlfriend and you (and your associates) are the only ones I trust to give me honest feedback concerning my predicatment.  I have had several girlfriends throughout my life and I have enjoyed pleasuring them with cunnilingus and have done so without any adverse effects.  However when I perform this with my current girlfriend, whom I love, my lips and tongue begin to tingle and go numb within seconds of making contact with her vulva.  I find this to be very uncomfortable and do not know why this happens?

My girlfriend is 41 years old, has never been pregnant, does not now nor has she ever had an STD (she had her annual exam last week), does not use any vaginal lubricants or perfumes, and only uses feminine pads during menstruation.  She is a smoker and uses alcohol socially.  I am in excellent health and also disease free.  Could you tell me why this may be happening only with her?

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,

Kevin

PS - Unfortunately we do not get your talk show here in Wichita.  I do, however, listen to your morning quip on AM 1330.

I am a bit baffled - so i'll ask the obvious - are you sure she is not spraying any perfume or other products, using any moisturizing cream or other body lotions that could be causing this reaction???  I'd venture a guess, if not, that for some reason you are having an allergic reaction to her "moisture" - it may be acidic so I would simply say that if you find the experience daunting - you may have to abandon that pleasurable experience.

I'd also experiment and see if taking an antihistamine before perfomeing oral sex - prevents the reaction.  If it does - bingo - that could be your solution.
