Q: i am on my period and i had a long rugged pale strip of skin come out with my blood is that normal ?

It would be impossible for us to tell you what this is over the Internet. Is it possible that you had a blood clot? Sometimes blood and tissue come out together during the menstrual cycle.
Are you using any type of birth control and particularly the Nuva Ring?
It probably is just some of the uternine lining but you may wish to talk to your gynecologist about this.
