Q: How do you know if you have a vaginal infection from tearing?

My girlfriend did me with a strap-on while we were drunk. It was my first time having anything in there, so it hurt like crazy and I knew that would happen...thus why we were drunk. Though, it turned out to be the worst Idea ever. She wasn't careful at all and pushed it in repeatedly without going slow and insufficient lubrication. The next morning I was very bruised, the walls of my vaginal were swollen and bleeding. :(

Now it's been about six days and still hurts when we try to use the strap-on. I still bleed from it as well. Can I get infected? How will I know?

Give it a couple of weeks to heal. Any cut is a potential invitation to infection by bacteria, whether its on your hand or there. You will know if they become infected, there will be discomfort, perhaps a discharge, pain enough for you to seek out a doctor for treatment.

Then go slow and be careful after a few weeks. If there is a problem with even doing that, you may want to see a doctor to make sure everything has healed.
