Q: birth control

i have been on the birth control pills for the past 5 months and i decided i wanted to switch to the depo shot but when i went in to talk to my doctor i realized ive been taking my pills wrong and i also got the depo shot today. should i be worried?

This is definitely a question you want to ask your doctor who knows your history. 

 

Here is information about the Depo-Provera shot from Planned Parenthood.

 

I am not finding anything in the literature which says it is harmful to switch from birth control pills to this shot.  But you should discuss your concerns with your doctor nonetheless.
