Hi there

Have you been seen by a gynecologist yet?  Is there any possibility that you have had unprotected sexual relations?  Any possibility that you may have an STD?

When you describe sores...are they painful?  Are the sores making it difficult to urinate for example? If STD's are a possibility I would make sure that what you are describing is not herpes

Please do see your doctor about this.  It could be anything...some sort of benign skin condition but you want to make sure.

Thank you for your question.

YES i am sexual active but my partner does a daily check up and he is clean. it isnt painful to pee. it just itch alot. and i did visit the GYN he sent me to do a swab and a blood test to be sure what it is. when i told him the vagisil is working he said ok then it is a yeast infection then he looked, during that time i had my period. he seem like he wasnt listening to me because he asked what all this blood and i already told him i had my period. it is a possiblity it could be genital herpes but i never been with no one else.

Hi again

Your doctor knows best.  But usually with a yeast infection you are going to have a white discharge that looks like cottage cheese.  It will also have an odor like yeast.  Did you use a vagisil screening kit or just the lotion?  Did he say you definitely have a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis?  How is he treating you?  Were you given any medication?

The blood test will help to confirm whether or not you have something like genital herpes.  When will you receive your results?

Some women get more yeast or bacterial infections right before their period.  I hope that this is all you have.  It seems likely since the vagisil is clearing things up for you.
