Q: I had a UTI, went to the doctor and got it treated. Then they asked me to go to a lab to give them another urine sample. Its been about a month, and I still havent gotten results. What does that mean?

Since they had me go to the lab I was suspecting I might have something serious, but they still haven't called or sent anything with results, and its almost be over two months. Or maybe they just wanted to see if I still had the infection? I'm very confused and worried because if i do have something serious I would like to get it treated asap. Why wouldn't they notify me?
