Here is a good article with illustrations dealing with your question. It can help if you know your blood types and rh factors. As the article states at the bottom:   "Problems with the Rh factor occur when the mother's Rh factor is negative and the baby's is positive. Sometimes, an incompatibility may occur when the mother is blood type O and the baby is either A or B." (Italics are mine)   Another article explaining these possible problems can be found here.
