Q: how to cure an onion odor in your vagina?

I've been living with this odor for over 7 years now. I've been to the doctor several time and they don't know what it is, and they gave me medicine for what they thought it was but it didn't work! I don't know what this odor is, but i do know i have no std's nor any yeast infections! How do i cure this, and what is this?

If you are sure it is not a bacterial infection of some kind. I really don't know.

The consensus of forums I checked was that the onion smell is a common problem and many suggested it was due to the diet, clothing worn and hygiene, that is, soaps and perfumes being used. Some even thought it was from sweat.

I had this exact same issue for years… This website has a whole lot of information on what to do if you have a vaginal onion odor problem. I used one of the vitamin treatments, and I totally got rid of the problem! Good luck!

I also been having this problem for 3years now and when I went to the doc they told me that I had bv. My gyn prescribe me oral antibiotics, which did not work.  After that he prescribed me the vagina metrogel, which might have gotten rid of the bv but not th onion odor. This problem is driving me crazy, I'm only 24, I spent 3 years of my life isolating myself from people because I smell like onions. I broke up with my bf because I was embarrassed of how I smell. I cry every day because I tried everything you can think of and nothing has work. Because of this I do not have a life, all I do is cry. I went on the website case of the onions, im trying each vitamin at once to see which one is going to work. So far I've been using zinc, folic acid, vitamin d nothing has happened yet. I brought  the vh  essentials bv capsule yesterday I will keep you guys posted if it works.
