I'm not a doctor, but I would definitely discuss this concern with your doctors and seek their opinion on what might be necessary now, and after you take that drug; whether a D&C might be more advisable. Also, what their advice is in future pregnancies if they think this might be what has happened in your case. They are the experts and have the knowledge but it does no harm in discussing this with them. or asking them to screen for this, and gaining some peace of mind. I'm very sorry you are going through this.
