Q: gastric bypass oral sex?

I have heard that after gastric bypass it was recommended to not suck through straws, etc..

I haven't found anything stating this is a permanent issue or something that comes back after a few months/years. I'm assuming that oral sex would be an issue as well.

I must confess i never heard this recommendation though i suppose it could make sense in the early days/weeks/months post surgery since a sudden, hard intake of breath might somehow affect pressures in the intestinal tract which has been modified.

I would however assume that oral sex is just fine - I cannot imagine that there would be a problem - I would just assume you should be a bit more careful and gentle - just in case.
