Q: I've had my period for 3 weeks. What could be wrong?

For three weeks I have had my period. It started off as very light, then heavy, then light to where it almost ended and now became heavy again. I never had any cramps or stomach pain during this.

Periods can greatly fluctuate in flow and how long they last but three weeks does seem like a long time.

I would give a call to your gynecologist to find the cause of such prolonged bleeding.
