What Do Prenatal Vitamins Do

According to researchers at The Hospital for Sick Children, women
who take a prenatal vitamin fortified with folic acid can reduce
their baby's risk of childhood cancers. Researchers say that
children of mothers who took a prenatal multivitamin were able to
reduce their child's risk for leukemia, neuroblastoma, and brain
tumors by 25 percent to 50 percent.
