Sex can trigger rare amnesia condition

For decades, doctors have encountered patients with a baffling form of amnesia in which the patient can remember their identities but has no memory of recent events. The condition, known as transient global amnesia (TGA), most often strikes people over age 50, and its most common trigger is sexual activity.
