Folic acid in late pregnancy linked to asthma

Australian scientists have found that babies born to women who take folic acid late in their pregnancy are at an increased risk for having asthma. But the scientists found that this increased asthma risk was not seen in babies if women took the supplements earlier in their pregnancy.  Read full story >
