Come Out, Come Out, Wherever You Are

(Page 3)

Coming out is a continuous process. As you meet new people, your sexuality may or may not be a topic that surfaces. My opinion is that once you're "out" your life is easier because you get to stop lying. You no longer have to keep track of the stories about where you were or which friends you were with. For me, it meant that I got to start living my life more honestly. The freedom I feel now is a thousand times more valuable than any discomfort I experienced the first few times coming out. You will tell the story of when, where, why and who you came out to a thousand times or more in your life, so make it a good one.
