Found the subject interesting, but you didn't touch on the one problem I started to have.  About 6 months of using a liquid hand cleaner, some 4-5 times a day produced an odd symptom.  The tips of my finger nails began to chip and crack.  I began to be very careful in fingernail care.  However, it wasn't until I stopped using the anti-bacterial liquid soap (with triclosan) that my nails returned to normal.  A month later I resumed my usual multiple washing with the soap, and the nails began to chip.  Now I use triclosan'd products vary sparingly--if at all.  I usually use Dove bar soap now, and look at all my product usage for Triclosan and its %.
