(1) Is RoC Retinol Corexxion a brand? What are some other brands of night cream with retinol? Does Olay Regenerist have retinol? Does Mary Kay have a retinol product? Are there store brands containing retinol (such as CVS) that work as well? (2) I just went to the dermatologist with what I thought was a recurrence of actino keratosis on my nose from 10 yrs. ago when I had it removed with cryo. This new dermatologist thought it was a cherry angiomago instead of a recurrence. That was 2 2 wks. ago, and now I have another lesion right below the other one. Do you think I need a 2nd opinion? My insurance prevents me from visiting the dermatologist with original dx of atino ker.

Dear Kathleen, Yes, retinol and tretinoin are both derivatives of vitamin A that help repair and improve your skin's texture. However, tretinoin is only available via prescription. Retinol is available over-the-counter as long as its concentration is less than 1%.
