Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 01:19 AMHi,
I have been through that cream based treatment before and it is a very unpleasant process
its generally a 3 or 4 week application process which becomes rather unbearable in the latter stages and you tend to cringe at the thought of re-applying the cream due to the pain, kind of like really bad sunburn
your skin will become inflamed and look like you have just stuck your skin into boiling water, it becomes very red and sore even to look at, so hibernation is best option if you are at all vain
HOWEVER..!
today was the last day of a 60 day trial of what will no doubt be the best treatment available for this kind of ailment/affliction
check the net for a product called Peplin
i went through the trial and it consisted of a 2 day application of the cream (clear gel) after 2 days it was a similar result to a 3 or 4 week application of effudex, there in is the best part, 2 days of application, little or no discomfort, and lifted many BCC's / AK's
but the bad bit is, this is still in trial and you can't get your hands on the stuff yet BUMMER
we shall just have to sit and wait, unless your really keen and want to google "Euphorbia Peplus" and have a crack yourself
enjoy readers

Saturday, November 08, 2008 at 12:01 AMHi, my name is kelly and i'v just treated my whole face with radium weed to kill skin cancers and im sooooo amazed at the results.i'm blond and very fair and have lived in Queensland my wole life and at the age of 35 im now reaping the rewards of burning till you blister. i applied the sap to sun spots, tiny sores that would not heal, dry skin across my lips that i'v had for nearly 10 years and when i looked closely i noticed between my freckles that all the skin was damaged, so i applied it to all the damaged skin i could see. over 2/3 of my face reacted, burned, turned blistery, then pussy. i applied pure vitamin E oil and olive oil to all the skin on my face at least 4 times, if not 6 times a day and did not pick or scratch(sooooo itchy) my face once as it started to peal and heal. now only 6 days later nearly all the lessions have healed, even burst capilaries under my eyes are gone. i look like i have had an acid peal face lift. my skin has never been this soft and wrinkle free.all the scaring from a life worth of sun exposure is gone. all the cancers have healed. yes it is extremely painfull ( the first 24 hours feels like all the sunburn you have ever had has come back to visit you at once. cold water on the face is relieving, and it can make you feel pretty out of sorts so take it easy, drink lots of water), and you don't want to go out at all, but for these results to occur in 6days is incredible.
i have heard people tell others to apply the sap daily even several times a day. i do not think more is better.i believe you should wait till the initial application has had time to blister and then heal, and after roughly 7-10 days apply more sap to the area if you think it is not all gone. if it is healed it will not react, if it is not all healed it will react. i have used radium weed on places other than my face before and i am finding the skin on some parts of your body need further applications. one on my hand took approx 2 months, i just applied it weekly and then one day it no longer became sore and blistery. with the skin on my face though it seems to be faster, yesterday i reapplied the sap to 3 areas i was wondering about and there has been no reaction. this has been a really profound experience for me, coming from a long line of skin cancer sufferers who have had to resort to USELESS burning, cutting and skin grafts, only to watch all their cancers grow right back. this has been my own endless experience with burning skin cancers at the doctors, they have all come, but the ones i have treated with radium weed on my body have never come back. as the radium weed flared up the true location of the skin cancers ( all of them much larger areas than the cancer lessions makes you think they are), i saw what was to come in my future and i feel i have just dodged the biggest bullet

cura derm

Monday, September 01, 2008 at 03:46 AMnice to read other peoples comments, i've just started effudix. i'm 53 i've had all the nitrogen burning etc. first time for effudix.
i will certainly look up peplin, thank yu. from what i now know most of my damage was done from my teens thru to my30's. i blame australia for having lovely beaches and weather and me for not listening to my mother and wear a hat and shirt!
I tried "radium weed" first i think it is what the man whom invented "curaderm" used as the base. apparently in north queensland the cattle farmers used it on their cattle and themselves to burn off skin cancers.
i used it many times and it was incredibly strong and tracked a long way across your face,yu could see the red lines as it moved. It would seem that it did the same job as effudix only in about 2 or 3 days, and as someone stated yu were very hesitant to put more on the lesion as yu knew what was coming. Curaderm is the same but spreads out to about a week or two. I also noticed when cutting fire wood the gum tree dust seem to react with the cancers, it really made them red and identified their position, when otherwise hard to detect.
I recently watched a documentry on the Sydney(australia) skin cancer clinic where they are using the dye the indians(not cowboy indians, the ones with the red dot) use to inject into the cancers and they kill the cancer but not the surrounding good tissue.(rose bengal dye) it is also amazing to know nearly anything will kill the cancers (bleach etc) but it also destroys the good cells.I will let yu know how the efudix goes, thank yu

carac cream for upper lip
Anonymous
Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 09:22 AMhi I started using carac cream for two spots on my upper lip. the dermatologist told me to rub the cream over the intire upper lip area. I've applied two does already and I'm not feeling any burning, seeing no blistering or feeling any discomfort. Could my cream be a bad batch thats not working. the dermatologist froze the two spots before I began the cream. could that make a difference? I took two weeks off from work for this treatment because the doc said it would take about two weeks, but from reading others stories it sounds like I will be going back to work when its going to look and feel the worst. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has as to what I am supposed to be experiencing.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 06:19 PMHi. I started to use Carac about two weeks ago and it actually is now starting to look scary. I have places on my face that look like I've been scalded by hot water. I really didn't look that bad before I started the treatment and my first instinct was to stop this since it looks 20 times worse than before I started. After looking over the literature it seems that the worse it looks the more positive work the stuff is performing. I don't know how bad this is going to get but I have to see the doc again the first week in January and we'll see what happens between now and then. Note that the redness I have just started after about the first two weeks. There is also a very slight burning sensation and the skin seems very dry. I'll know more in January and will provide any input that I can to help other users. Hope this helps.

Carac feedback
Tinman
Thursday, January 08, 2009 at 08:13 PMI'm 10 days into a second 30 day application of Carac to my forehead. The first round/application was to a small area on my right temple which ended very well! The descriptions of the course of the treatment from other posters is very accurate (i.e.:burning sensation, blistering, itching, scaling and dryness). The success of my first experience prompted me to self-start a second round of treatment (I was away from land) when the tiny tell tale red patches began in another area of my forehead 3-4 weeks after the first completed round. I checked in with my doctor when I was able and let him know what I was doing and that I would need more Carac to complete the series. No worries! I should finish mid January. My doctor was spot on when he explained how carac would not affect non-involved/effected skin. I am hopeful for the same out come for all who try Carac and wish everyone a healthy new year!
Regards, Tinman

Skin cancer and radium weed
Tarielle
Monday, January 26, 2009 at 10:35 PMHi jimbo and everyone,
I thought I'd share my experience with the radium weed. I think it's going to be the next best thing to surgery once the companies start putting it in their medications.
I had a couple of skin cancer spots appear on my chest (I too was a stupid sun worshiper in my teens) and a friend of mine from Queensland told me to try the sap from radium weed. For all who don't know what this weed is just google it and look at the pictures, everyone in Australia must have seen this weed in their garden by now. When you break the little stems a white milky sap comes out.
Anyway, I put the sap straight on my skin cancers for 4 nights straight. Amazingly the sap ate the cancer away, it did weep a bit but then I got a couple of scabs forming and my skin started to heal. Once the scabs fell off my skin was cancer spot free and it keeps getting better all the time. This was about 4 months ago. I have some very small scars but I'm treating them with other products as the whole area is sun damaged anyway.
I am definately in favour of using the radium weed and I'm singing it's praises. Although if someone were to have a dangerous skin cancer I'm not sure if the radium weed could work as well. It would probably depend on how deep in the skin it is.
Good luck to everyone else treating this terrible problem.
Cheers!

Looks Horrible so far....
LH Tennessee
Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 12:32 AMHello, I also wanted to help others who are about to use Carac. I am hoping what I have read about the end results is true....that it works. Right now, after 11 days of applying Carac in a thin layer on my chest...I look like I have a terrible disease. I have read from others that "good" skin will not react..which is true. What I have right now is purple-red-burgundy pin size dots over about a 4x8 inch area on my chest...some have little red lines between them, as if showing how the cancer spreads. I can only wear tops that completely cover everything, plus it hurts just to barely touch it. When you try to sleep, the pain keeps you up...it feels like your skin is burning off. I am praying that this stuff works...and once and for all. I have had several burn-offs with the nitrogen at the doctors office. As expensive as Carac is, around $180 a tube, it must work. I am trying this for about 3 weeks, then I'll follow up.

Nervous Nillie!
Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 09:54 PMOh! No! Think Positive...Think Positive! I am only 2 days into using my carac for only a couple of spots...after reading all this I am really concerned! Think of the outcome and be positive....am I really doing the right thing? This is a 4week plan...check with my Dr. in two weeks....only to be used on the spots concerned with...now I wonder if I should just go ahead and get it over with and use all over! Good as new?....we shall see
