    Thanks so much for this information.  I have to admit that I am naive enough to think that the FDA does not approve any product or medication or anythign that is bad for us.  But I guess the joke is on me.  Thanks to you I know know to pay a bit more attention to these kinds of things.

     

    Do you know if there are any "all natural" products that can be used as sunscreen?  I would love to know about that for me and the kids.

    If you have a Whole foods near you - they carry some sunblocks that would pass muster for sunblock acitivity but that have very forgiving ingredients and typically use titanium doxide - a physical barrier ingredient  - I also recall "Soleo" from the Natural products expo i attended - but check it out to make sure it meets sunblock/safety for kids.
