Personal vigilance is essential in preventing and diagnosing skin cancer and malignant melanoma. For an easy to use mole recording and tracking product, visit visiderm.com.
The Visiderm Skin Monitoring System was recently featured on the medical talk show THE DOCTORS. It is the only product that records and tracks every single mole change warning sign...Assymetrical, Border, Color, Diameter and Evolving. It does not diagnose or treat skin cancer, but is merely a personal awareness product to notice change and make that essential appointment with the dermatologist.
First I want to second the emotional support and empathy anyone here who feels depressed can find at Heath Central's My Depression Connection.
The place is full of kind, empathetic people who, may or may not suffer depression for the sames reasons, but understand where it takes you and there are tons of ideas and well written and thought out articles there. All it takes is a word search or two to find material on most any problem about depression one is facing.
Second, I can easily understand the emotional strain of having to have surgery and deal with long term healing especially on a person's face. Our society, as we all know, places such a premium on looks. It is inescapable. Serious surgery like that faced by Tracy can easily incapacitate most of us. I admire her, she even posted pictures of her condition in her profile.
I appreciate your articles because you take the time to link to sources, and those which link to further information and help. This is a good place to start when someone is facing skin cancer surgery. I liked the series you did on MOHS surgery since most people opt for that highly successful method. You did about four articles and an interview, I think, which can be found by searching the word MOHS among other information.
Keep the good work going.
