Hi there - I am a moderator for the site and though not medically trained I will help to answer you questions and lend a hand the best I can.

I haven't answered your post directly, as I believe you are posting on carmenworley's Efudex blog/post.  There seems to be alot of information there, but please let me know if you require more help/information.

    All the best, sue

ps - are you the same poster as rtaylor1963?

    Sue,

I try to ask questions about so much of this experience and then listen for advice..

Day 5 of Carac tonight, Left temple and forehead red and spotty, If a scc or bcc is deeper in left temple is carac helping at all to treat this if invasive.  I was diagnosed at the same time with dermatitis/ezema fun fun.. And that is the reason for first visit.. And 4 days later scc on nose...  I keep thinking the uglier ther better effect,  right??  (((I just feel a bone ache in the temple area more than the other and seems swollen..)))  I pray that this is treating it or if a mohs is done post biopsy of it it is not to traveled.  Im so fair skin and the new derm. that called me as backup on pager stated I will probably have to do carac once a year with a 50% chance of cancer in next two years..  Are we lowering the chances with Carac..  I read the post on how to calculate aks vs surgery with bridget and am thankful were are knocking some out I hope..  Trying to have faith in doctor and God....
