Who is a good dermatologist in the area?

What kind of skin condition do you have?

Gene,

Please forgive me. I am in such a rush I did not click on your name to read your profile. You obviously have BCC.

If you don't mind me asking, did Dr. Hollabaugh perform Mohs surgery on you?

There are many things to consider in maintaining a good health. I have to keep in my mind healthy foods. Thanks to doctors. Thanks to new york neurosurgeon

Yes he did, but now I go to Dr Mathew Barrows. He has an office in Allen and McKinney in Stonebridge Ranch. Not as close to me as Dr. H, but I prefer Barrows. Yes, I have BCC's and have had Mohs many times.

Gene:

Thank you for answering.

I am curious...

Why do you now prefer Barrows over Hollabaugh?

Did your cancer reoccur IN THE SAME PLACE after Mohs surgery?

Did you have a skin graft or skin flap to close the wound? If so, who did the plastic surgery?

How long did it take for you to completely heal up after Moh's?

Hollabaugh and I had a presonality conflict, but he is a good doctor.

I never had a medical procedure with Dr. Hollabaugh, just consulted with him because I was referred to him for Mohs surgery. Afterwards, I found out he is the doctor for some members in my church.

I don't know what you mean by "personality conflict" with Dr. H, but he is nice and helpful. I know a dermatologist in Plano, TX I DON'T like, but not one I like yet.

Who was your plastic surgeon and did you like his work?
