I need advice and feedback on ALDARA

Hello, My fiance has been diagnosed with 5 Malignant Basal Cell Carcinomas and one Melanoma spot. He has been told to use Aldara, but I have read so many negative side affects that the pharm topical drug has. I have read many articles as well that says it is used for pre-cancerous cells. Mohs vs Aldara

I have had a lesion on my nose for a few years...first dermatologist did a biopsy and freezed my lesion...biopsy came out ok, but lesion stayed. Then I used efudex for 2 weeks... made my nose look horrible...still the lesion persisted. Dermatologist #2 had me do Levulan IPL & said if it was an AK this would "kill"... Read more Chevron
