Hi there

This is actually a very complex question to answer and so I am going to let you read the very detailed answer given by our Dr. Kevin Berman.

Are you worried that you will get skin cancer or pass it on to your children?

I hope the doctor's article answers your question.  If not, come back and I will try to help you further.

For me, as a grandmom - no one has ever had skin cancer - other types yes - but not skin - I am a brunette - never liked sun - at the ocean - on the beach?? not me - - my dad is Scandinavian, my mother English - I ended up with BCC on the top of my scalp - now I was bit by a tick years ago - had Doctors and beauticians always look at it as time went by.  Bingo - had biopsy - and had MOH surgery
