Q: red spots in the skin

i need to know if red spots in the skin(arms, legs, face, back) are in any form malignant? i have seen lately that more and more are coming in my body and i'm only 33. are they dangerous?

my mum recently had breast cancer, has these red spots, and we see more coming in her body.are they dangerous?

Hi there

 

It is very possible that these red spots are totally unrelated to your mother's breast cancer.  I would not link the two together at this point.

 

There is no way to tell you over the Internet what these are...you need to go see a doctor to get them checked out.

 

In the meantime I have written an article about how to check your skin for skin cancers.   

 

If you have a sore or lesion which is growing, is multi-colored, is itchy, bleeding, crusting....this sort of thing...get it checked out.

 

But since you are very worried...go make an appointment so these red spots can be diagnosed.  I am hopeful it is nothing serious.
