Sore mole on the side of my neck.

I have had a mole on the side of my neck for as long as I can remember, but a couple of months ago it got a bit uncomfortable. If i ever brush it with my hand it bothers me - not hurt, but almost feels like the uncomfortable feeling of having a pimple. Not sure if it is anything to be concerned...
