Topics:squarmous cell carcinoma

I have had lesions on my arms back and legs for several years, I have been to so many doctors and none have ever wanted to find out what these are. I have been told the lesions are brought on my me. I finally found a doctor who wanted to help so he took a biopsy of several and it came back squamous cell carcinoma, so I am having them removed in a few days. I have lots of these on my body but some appear to have healed but left bad scars, the doctor believes I have something else going on besides the squamous cell. My question is can these that have left scars still be squamous and what organs are affected by squarmous cell carcinoma

I am surprised and disappointed that some of the doctors you approached did not act sooner and with more urgency.  that being said - we do a pretty good job on the "find" area of the site describing squamous cell carcinoma so rather than go into an incomplete answer her -just click on "Find" and then choose squamous cell skin cancer - you'll get an excellent review of the condition and answers to your question.

Good luck.
