Q: husband had tiny mole, suddenly grew very quickly, skin tone, white hard scale top, now has 3 on arms

the first mole went from pin head size to marker lid size within several weeks (5-7). He now has 2 on his other arm. The other 2 are pretty small right now, but one is already as big as the clicker end of a pen....Hard to describe.

They are crusty on the top and somewhat easily irritated and tender...The moles do not look like the usual melanomas in photos as they are not black or tones of black patches. They are skin colour for the most part and the crusty top is hard and scaley......Can you offer any information?
