Can I sit in the sun on a cruise next week

Had squamous skin cells removed 2 years ago and have kept out of the sun. While enjoying a cruise next week, can I sit at a beach with 30 exposure on my face and get some sun a few times?

Not without UVA/UVB total sunblock SPF minimum 30 - you are not a candidate for any unprotected sun exposure - AT ALL.  Use a self tanner if you want that sun kissed look and then put sunblock on top.
